ABOUT THE PROGRAM AND THE RESULTS​

The Virginia Beach Spring 2014 integrated program promoted a girlfriend getaway themed message through Fitness and More magazines. The custom designed four-page insert went to subscribers in the region of Washington D.C., Baltimore, Raleigh, Charlotte, Virginia and West Virginia reaching over 1.5 million readers in April of 2014.

 

The program included a three month long enter-to-win Virginia Beach Girlfriend Getaway Sweepstakes that is currently hosted on Virginia Beach’s Facebook page. The prize included a Perception Prodigy kayak. It was promoted by a custom eNewsletters from Fitness, More and TravelMeredith.com. The sweepstakes delivered 48,995 page visits, 19,161 entries, more than 2,000 likes to Virginia Beach’s Facebook page, over 5,000 shares from Virginia Beach's Facebook page and resulted in over 2,600 opt ins.
