ABOUT THE PROGRAM AND THE RESULTS?

The Kentucky Tourism program in Spring 2013 was an integrated program promoting a family themed message through Family Circle, FamilyFun and Parents magazines. The custom designed four-page insert went to subscribers in the region of Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, West Virginia, Virginia, Michigan and Missouri reaching over 7.7 million readers in May of 2013.

 

The program included an three month long enter-to-win Kentucky Family Fun Sweepstakes that was hosted by TravelMeredith.com with a custom e-newsletter. The sweepstakes delivered over 317,267 page views, 322,702 entrants and resulted in 6,200 opt ins for the state. The TravelMeredith.com custom e-newsletter delivered a 31.81% open rate for Kentucky Tourism.

 

The program was co-branded with a national retailer, Midas, and they promoted the state and sweepstakes in-store through high impact window clings in approximately 344 stores.

 

The program also delivered over 12,200 in-book reader service leads for Kentucky Tourism and it's co-op partners.

HOW DID WE DO THIS AND WHAT WERE THE RESULTS?
A high impact, beautifully designed insert ran in the May 2012 issue of Family Circle in
Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, Illinois, West Virginia, Virginia, Michigan and Missouri delivering a readership of over 3.5 million. The insert included spring activities and destinations in Kentucky.
